Manisha Kapasi, PT, PhD, CHT.

Manisha Kapasi graduated from University of Bombay with a Bachelors degree in Physical
Therapy in 1987.  She worked as a physical therapist in Bombay before she came to the US.  In
1992, she was awarded a Ph.D. in Anatomy from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia
Commonwealth University.  Manisha worked as a physical therapist at Medical College of
Virginia Hospital treating patients in Orthopedic, Burns, Vascular repair units and at the
Outpatient Hand Management Center before moving to Atlanta in 1994.  In 1995 she was
awarded Board Certification in Hand Therapy by the American Society of Hand Therapists and
recognized as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).  She has accumulated more than 10 years of
clinical experience and worked at several clinics in metro Atlanta including Emory Clinic.
Manisha is a guest lecturer on the topic of hand injuries in an advanced orthopedic course that is
offered to students in the physical therapy program at Emory University.  She is an active
participant in the Upper Extremity Special Interest Group (a professional organization of Atlanta
area hand therapists) and was chosen to be the Treasurer for this group in 1999.  Manisha is a
member of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT).  She is the owner and director of
Meadows Physical Therapy and Hand Clinic.
Ann M. Lucado, PT, CHT.

Ann M. Lucado has 16 years of clinical experience in hand rehabilitation.  She has conducted
numerous instructional seminars specific to upper extremity rehabilitation across the country
and has served as adjunct faculty in the university setting. Ann received her MS in Community
Health Education and Physical Therapy at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and is a
doctoral candidate at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is a
member of both the ASHT and APTA and is active in clinical research.
Janet Kindschuh, DPT.

Janet graduated with honors from Emory University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  
She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Emory University as well.
Janet was valedictorian of her physical therapy class and accomplished a 4.0 GPA in Emory’s
physical therapy program.  Janet is a recipient of the Who’s Who Among Students in American
Universities and Colleges Award as well as being nominated for the American Physical Therapy
Association's Mary McMillan Scholarship Award.

Janet’s training and work experience is in the area of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
including sports medicine injuries.  She has treated several members of the Atlanta Braves
Professional Baseball Organization, which provided her exceptional experience in the area of
sports medicine.  Janet holds national certification in teaching aerobics and currently teaches
step aerobics and strength conditioning classes to members of diverse ages and experience
levels.
